Toni Nobush, Principal, Project Leadership Services
A founding partner of Project Leadership Services, Toni Nosbush is an exceptionally talented project leader. She contributes her keen insight and deep subject matter expertise along with solid project management acumen to consistently deliver successful projects within highly regulated industries. While Toni has worked in other industries, including communications and high-tech, the medical device industry is her passion.
Drawing on over 30 years of experience, she balances logic and intuition to achieve success at leading both small and large teams. She has developed products from conception through product phase-out. Her organizational development experience includes facilitating relationships between groups, establishing strategies for resource allocation, providing divisional and corporate-wide strategic direction; and managing risk. She possesses a particularly strong track record for turning around troubled projects.
Toni brings to each project an exceptional array of skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization and across many cultures. She is also able to take a broad view of complex situations, articulate key points, and segment tasks into manageable pieces. Her style – whether leading an on-time product development team, or notifying a worldwide patient population about a dangerous medical interaction – is confident, calm, and logical. People follow her because they know they will be successful.
She has led product teams to successfully introduce dozens of products in the US and international markets. Additionally, she has led project teams during crises – including removing a product from the market for quality issues and navigating a successful response to a regulatory warning letter. Toni loves the challenge of meeting with regulatory agencies to help them understand a new product or submission or to inform and educate them on new industry information. Toni has been recognized as a Distinguished Engineering Alumna of her university, as a mentor of many aspiring leaders (especially young women), and a respected leader within the professional association of Medical Alley. Personally, Toni invests her steady energy into enjoying her six adult children and being active in her community. Toni developed a successful and innovative nutrition program for underprivileged kids that she designed to ensure it was easily replicated. The program is now in its 4th year and serves over 2,000 children in her community.
